Bella Doula Retreat Iceland
May 14th -17th 2026

This intimate in-person retreat is an invitation to growth and beauty.
It is an empowering gathering, bringing together doulas and birth workers from all over the world to expand their knowledge, nurture their souls and develop life-long friendships.

Our mission is to provide a platform for learning, networking and sharing experiences. We believe that when we birth keepers put our oxygen masks on first and dive deep into self-care on a regular basis, we emerge stronger and with more capacity to be there for our families and clients in a more present and conscious way.
We are passionate about nurturing you so you can nurture others!
BDR participant
"The retreat exceeded my expectations. I did not know how much I needed it before I got there. I am not exaggerating when I say it changed my life."
BDR participant
"I've been in many woman circles, ceremonies and retreats, but I've never felt so much presence and caring from all who participated. Being surrounded with like-minded peers was just magical."
BDR participant
"I learned so much from all of you and a part of my soul was heard and healed. I was able to be myself. I think the retreat was very well constructed."

Lodging
From May 14-17 2026, we're heading to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula in Iceland for a Bella Doula Retreat like no other! Dive into wonder, connection, and renewal amidst Iceland's stunning landscapes. Imagine cozy comfort tucked into wild, rugged beauty — where sea cliffs, fresh air, and stillness invite you to breathe deeply. Our home for the retreat will be the Arnarstapi Center, a warm and welcoming haven surrounded by nature. Here, nourishing meals and your choice of a private or shared room await as you soak in the magic of Iceland.
Schedule
Each day of our nourishing time together will begin with gentle awakening—moments to breathe deeply, stretch open, and attune mind, heart, and body to the rhythm of the day. Mornings will flow into rich sessions exploring practical and soulful teachings that you can weave into your work with young families—wisdom that nurtures both your professional growth and personal well-being.
Afternoons will invite time for reflection, rest, and connection. You might wander in nature, share quiet conversation, or simply pause in stillness to integrate and restore.
As evening unfolds, we’ll gather in circle to share stories, laughter, and the collective wisdom of birth keepers. Together, we’ll honour the beauty of our shared calling and the quiet strength that arises when we gather in purpose.
