As birth workers, we know that nature is a dynamic and powerful teacher. It invites us to embrace patience, surrender, and renewal. With this as one of our core philosophies, choosing Switzerland as the place for our 2027 retreat felt organic and deeply aligned with the spirit of Bella Doula Retreats. Here, surrounded by majestic mountains, alpine lakes, quiet valleys, and expansive landscapes, we invite you to slow down, reconnect with nature, with your calling, and most importantly, with yourself.
Our Venue in the Swiss Alps
We chose Berglodge37 because it offers much more than simply a place to gather. Tucked away in the Swiss mountains at 1,450 metres, the journey itself, a nine-minute gondola ride, marks a transition away from everyday life and into a space designed for fresh perspectives, meaningful conversations and genuine connection. With Alpine views, inspiring spaces and great food, it creates the perfect environment to pause, rest and recharge. A place to step away from the noise, ground yourself, and return to your work with renewed energy, inspiration and a fresh sense of possibility.
Meals at our retreat
Throughout the retreat, we’ll enjoy thoughtfully prepared meals made with fresh, seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. Breakfast and lunch will be served as generous vegetarian/vegan buffets, with morning and afternoon snacks in between. At the end of each day, we’ll gather for a divine three-course dinner (ethically raised Swiss meat option available), and more laughter, reflection, and great conversation.
Getting there
By car:
Flüelen is easily accessible by car from all directions. If travelling by motorway, follow the A2 towards Flüelen/Altdorf and take the Flüelen exit. From there, follow the signs towards Flüelen and the Eggberge cable car. The cable car station is just a few minutes from the motorway exit.

Parking:
There is parking available directly at the Eggberge cable car station. Parking costs CHF 8 per day and can be paid at the parking machine. Spaces cannot be reserved in advance.
We recommend allowing a little extra time to park, unload your luggage and make your way to the cable car.
By public transport:
Flüelen is well connected by train from across Switzerland. You can check your connections on the SBB website. From the Flüelen train station, the Eggberge cable car station is a 5-minute taxi ride or a 30-minute walk away.
The gondola ride and walk to the Berglodge37:
The nine-minute gondola ride takes you up to Eggberge, where the Berglodge37 is located. A return ticket costs CHF 23, and the gondola departs every 30 minutes. For the latest timetable and ticket information, please visit the cable car’s website. The lodge is approximately a 5–10 minute walk from the mountain station along a gravelled path, so we recommend bringing a backpack rather than a wheeled suitcase.
