YOU DESERVE TO BE NOURISHED
Gather with us in Switzerland
27-30 May 2027
We Nurture Those
Who Nurture Others
Our retreats are an invitation to growth and beauty. They are empowering gatherings that bring together birth workers from all over the world to expand their knowledge, restore their energy and become part of a supportive community. Our mission is to create a space for learning, networking and sharing experiences. We believe that when we birth keepers put our oxygen masks on first and dive deep into self-care on a regular basis, we emerge stronger and with more capacity to be there for our families and clients in a more present and conscious way.

Each day will open with a gentle practice, combining breath and movement to help us feel present and ready for the day ahead.
Mornings will flow into rich sessions exploring practical and soulful teachings that you can weave into your work with young families, wisdom that nurtures both your professional growth and personal well-being.
Afternoons will invite time for reflection, rest, and connection. You might wander in nature, share quiet conversation, or simply pause in stillness to integrate and restore.
As evening unfolds, we’ll gather in circle to share stories, laughter, and the collective wisdom of birth keepers. Together, we’ll honour the beauty of our shared calling and the quiet strength that arises when we gather in purpose.

Reflections from our BDR participants…
You might be wondering…
-
Our retreat is open to birth workers of all backgrounds and experience levels. Whether you're a birth doula, postpartum doula, midwife, childbirth educator, lactation professional, or another professional supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood, we welcome you!
-
Not at all! Whether you're newly trained, well established in your practice, taking a break from client work, or exploring your next chapter as a birth worker, you're welcome to join us.
-
Think of a blend of rest, connection, inspiration, and community. There will be opportunities to unwind, take part in thoughtfully chosen activities and workshops, exchange ideas, share experiences, and enjoy time away from your everyday responsibilities. Our intention is to offer a space where you feel held and supported, whenever you are on your journey.
-
Definitely both! We believe that self-care and growing in the work we do go hand in hand. The retreat will offer a mix of rest, personal reflection, workshops, and opportunities to learn from and connect with fellow birth workers. There will be space to explore new ideas, share experiences, and nurture both your personal well-being and professional journey.
-
Absolutely. Rest is an important part of this experience, not an afterthought. There will be opportunities to slow down, enjoy the surroundings, have a quiet moment to yourself, or connect informally with others. You don't have to fill every moment. Sometimes the most meaningful part of a retreat is simply having the space to breathe.
